Hi Val, what makes this car meaningful or special to you?
My car is meaningful to me because it helps forge unbreakable bonds with the community and my own brother. I saw the vision of creating art with the R34 Skyline Sedan to bring everyone young and old to come together during a time when so much of it is digital. Truly timeless...unforgettable.
What’s the one thing you love most about it?
A difficult one, too many things to love aesthetically. But to keep it simple, the space inside. I can't stand having no rear seats or a tapered roof. Relationships with others are important to me, and I love to take people along for the ride. Best of both worlds, comfort and sport.
Why did you choose this car / what made you want to own it?
Originally, the first R34 project built with my brother was eye-opening to see what it was like to be a Skyline owner. I feel in love, but I also saw a small amount of love for the R34 4 doors. I wanted to change that worldwide through its design visually and mechanically.
What are you most looking forward to at the event?
I am looking forward to most of all the wonderfully unique car builds attending. Something rare and bold screams out to me since I worked in luxury fashion for +15 years. I adore the strength in people not being afraid to step outside the norms by putting their personal touches to a vehicle. To allow oneself to be a creator begins with a vision that inspires a story from the heart that can change others' lives for the better.
